Who Killed Hanuman?

There exists no story of Hanuman being killed in Hindu mythology. Hanuman, the upasaka (devotee) of Lord Rama and the key character of Ramayana, is regarded as a divine incarnation having body of vajra with great strength, knowledge and spirit.

Hanuman in the story of Ramayana serves as the epitome of devotion, strength and loyalty, with the story focusing on his devotion to Lord Rama – and how he played a pivotal role in finding Sita, who was kidnapped by the demon king, Ravana. Hanuman's heroic deeds are so impressing that he leaps the ocean to get to Lanka, fights the demons, and brings Rama's message to Sita — these feats show his divine strength and devotion.

In Hindu texts, Hanuman is the embodiment of all things brave, a sign of selfless dedication and bravery. Since he is not subject to death, he can never die, and therefore is eternally there to save and inspire his worshipers.

So in the Hindu mythology there is no story to say that Hanuman died. But instead he is worshipped as an eternal being whose tales resonate with millions, generation after generation.
